Supporting Dual-Carbon and Green Development | 2024 Green Low-Carbon Timber Structure Industry Development Seminar Successfully Held
On March 29, 2024, the Green Low-Carbon Timber Structure Industry Development Seminar was held in Rizhao City, Shandong Province. The seminar was co-hosted by the Timber Structure Industry Branch of the China Timber Protection Industry Association, Treezo New Materials Science and Technology Group Co., Ltd., and the People's Government of Lanshan District, Rizhao City.
Liu Nengwen, President of the China Timber Protection Industry Association, Xing Xiaobo, Vice President of the China Timber Protection Industry Association, Guan Songyan, Secretary-General of the Timber Structure Industry Branch, and other industry experts, along with Shen Jie, Deputy Secretary and District Chief of Lanshan District, Rizhao City, and representatives from related government departments and enterprises, attended the meeting.

In the expert report session, Guan Songyan, Secretary-General of the Timber Structure Industry Branch, first delivered a report titled "Current Situation and Trends of China's Timber Structure Industry," which elaborated on the current state and trends of China's timber structure development, industry statistics, future development directions, and domestic key project cases. Following this, several experts presented reports on the low-carbon sustainable development advantages of timber structures, progress in modern timber structure standards, and the opportunities and challenges for timber structure buildings under the dual-carbon goals.

Innovation-Driven Development, Collective Wisdom on Empowerment During the sharing session, Yang Ning, Deputy Director of Lanshan Economic Development Zone Management Committee, Vice Secretary and General Manager of Lanshan Economic Development Group, and other guests shared insights on the timber industry, timber structure project planning, and technical research and development. Zhang Renjie, General Manager of Zhejiang Treezo Modular Building Technology Co., Ltd., made a keynote presentation on "Supporting Dual-Carbon Development and Deepening Green Building Materials Research and Modular Timber Structure Building Applications," detailing Treezo Group's innovation in research and development and the application of modular buildings.
