2024.09.26

Throughout the vast history of China, traditional patterns have shone brightly like stars, illuminating the endless cultural heritage of the nation. On September 26th, the 2024 China Annual Pattern Launch Event was held at the Grand Convention Center in Hangzhou, unveiling the annual patterns and initiating the Pattern Revival Plan. This event is set to lead a new wave of trends and inject fresh energy into the development of Chinese patterns. Treezo Group's Vice President, Tian Maohua, was invited to attend the event and share in the beauty of modern pattern revival.

Endless Legacy of Chinese Patterns

Chinese patterns have been a significant cultural carrier, embodying deep meanings and distinctive artistic expressions. Dating back to the 5,000-year-old Liangzhu civilization, plant, animal, and geometric patterns adorned jade, pottery, and woodworks. Over the dynasties, patterns like beast faces and dragon-phoenix motifs represented power, majesty, and prosperity. Through centuries, these traditional designs have remained relevant, symbolizing the cultural DNA of the Chinese people.

Modern Applications of Traditional Patterns

With the advancement of technology, innovations such as AIGC provide new opportunities for the modernization of traditional craftsmanship. Treezo, rooted in the sacred land of Liangzhu, embraces the responsibility of cultural inheritance through its “Pattern Awakening” initiative, showcasing the harmonious blend of tradition and innovation. At the forum, Vice President Tian Maohua shared Treezo’s journey of incorporating traditional patterns into product designs, including the Lianzhu-inspired IP series and various artistic home solutions.

Treezo's Commitment to Pattern Revival

During the event, Treezo, alongside the China National Arts & Crafts Association, signed a strategic cooperation agreement to co-build the Pattern Revival Center, aiming to promote the integration of traditional Chinese designs with modern aesthetics. Vice President Tian Maohua was also appointed as Deputy Secretary-General of the Pattern Research Center, demonstrating Treezo's leadership in the field of pattern innovation.
