It was officially opened to the public on February 26, 1992. The Oriental Pearl Radio & TV Tower is one of the iconic cultural landscapes of Shanghai, located in Lujiazui, Pudong New Area. It is approximately 468 meters high. The building was constructed in July 1991 and was put into use in May 1995. It undertakes the transmission of six sets of wireless television in Shanghai, covering a radius of 80 kilometers. The Oriental Pearl Radio & TV Tower is one of the first batch of AAAA-level tourist attractions in China. The tower contains attractions and facilities such as a space capsule, a revolving restaurant, and the Shanghai Urban History Development Exhibition Hall. It was listed as one of the top ten new landscapes in Shanghai in 1995. On January 6, 2020, it was selected as one of the top ten new landmark buildings in Shanghai in 2019.

Shanghai World Financial Center is located at 100 Century Avenue, Pudong New Area, Shanghai. It is a skyscraper situated in the Lujiazui financial and trade zone. Facing the hinterland of Pudong New Area to the east, overlooking Puxi and the Huangpu River to the west, adjacent to the commercial trade area of Zhangyang Road to the south, and bordered by the central green space of Lujiazui to the north."

The Shimao Strait Tower is located at No. 180-188 Yanwu West Road, Siming District, Xiamen City, Fujian Province. It is a urban complex integrating hotel, office buildings, SOHO offices, as well as sightseeing, shopping, leisure, entertainment, and dining. The building, consisting of twin towers, was once the tallest in Xiamen. In 2017, the Shimao Strait Tower was awarded the first prize of the "National Excellent Engineering Survey and Design Industry Award" for the year.
